1.1 Atlántico Sur - Mar del Scotia

The foregoing information is based on satellite images with different resolutions, dates and foreign analysis. They summarize the general conditions of the sea ice and icebergs larger than 10 NM for such period. The described conditions may change because of the in situ visual observations and the prevailing weather conditions.

Zone 2. Islas Orcadas del Sur and surroundings

The sea ice fields in this zone are subject to experience changes in their extension, concentration and ice field pressure depending on the prevailing winds.

Zone 3. Mar de la Flota e islas Shetland del Sur
